Golfing is a popular pastime in Algarve.</font></font></p> <p align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">The rental property is only 20 minutes drive from Faro airport and about a five minute drive from the town of Pechão where there are good restaurants, shops and cafes etc. Estói famous for its palace and Roman ruins is about a 10 minute drive as is Olhão the nearest coastal resort. The nearest grocery shop is about 1km away and the beach 6km. Due to the villas rural location a hire car is essential.</font></p> <p><font face="Verdana" size="2">The private self catering Algarvian villa is surrounded by almond, fig and olive trees, and is perfect for anyone in search of a peaceful rural retreat. Set in an acre of private gardens the villa enjoys views across surrounding countryside. Children are welcome at the property, and there is a safe play area.  Gates to the pool can be locked.</font></p> <p> <font face="Verdana" size="2">Due to the villa's rural location a hire car is recommended. Although we give directions to the villa, we are always happy to meet guests at Faro airport and guide them back to the house.</font><p><font face="Verdana" size="2">Casa das Flores is equipped to a high standard and all bedrooms have air-conditioning which supplies either cool or warm air as required.</font></p> <p> <font face="Verdana" size="2">Accommodation consists of a spacious lounge/dining room with satellite TV (Sky Freeview) and DVD player. There are four bedrooms (one double with ensuite, two twins with ensuite and one twin on the first floor with private patio). There is a further separate bathroom.</font></p> <p><font face="Verdana" size="2">The large kitchen is fully equipped and appliances include microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is a separate laundry room for guests use.</font></p> <p><font face="Verdana" size="2"><i> All windows and patio doors have fly screens fitted.</i></font><p align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">Casa das Flores is only a 15 minute drive from Faro the capital city of Algarve which is where the main airport is situated. Lisbon airport is about a 4 hour drive away. The villa is a few minutes drive from Pechão and 10 minutes from the old town of Estói famous for its Roman ruins.</font></p> <p align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">Only 6kms away is the thriving city of Olhão with its daily fresh food markets plus a range of facilities, restaurants, museum and cinema.  All summer there is evening entertainment by the seaside.</font></p> <p align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">The nearest beaches are at Faro and Fuzeta (both about 15 minutes drive away), and from Olhão you can take a ferry out to the islands of Culatra, Armona and Farol.</font></p> <p align="left"><font face="Verdana" size="2">Just 8kms away is the old walled city of Faro which is steeped in history and a pleasant place to walk around.  All summer there is entertainment by the marina and plenty of restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine.  Just outside the centre of Faro there is a large modern shopping mall and nine cinemas showing all the latest films most of which are in English.</font></p> <p><font face="Verdana" size="2">During the cooler months of the year, the villa can be heated by lighting the wood burning stove in the lounge. The lounge doors open onto a patio with BBQ and pretty sitting area. The kitchen door leads to the pool area and outside dining terrace where there is a shaded area with a large table which seats up to 14 people.</font></p> <p><font face="Verdana" size="2">The 14 x 6 metre curvaceous swimming pool (min depth 1.2m, max depth 2.0m) can be lit at night.</font></p> <p><font face="Verdana" size="2">In the large gardens there are quiet sitting areas where you can take advantage of either sun or shade.</font><p><font face="Verdana" size="2">There's plenty of outdoor furniture - full length sun-beds with mattresses for all guests on which you can stretch out comfortably. In addition, there are numerous outside tables, chairs and sun umbrellas.
